Job description:

  • Scientific services in research within a DFG project international Reearch Training Group (IRTG 2403) „Dissecting and Reengineering the Regulatory Genome“
  • IRTG 2403 aims to teach the next generation of researchers a quantitative understanding of genome function and gene regulation within the context of biological systems
  • alliance between Berlin institutions (led by Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin) and Duke University
  • tasks for your own scientific qualification (doctorate)


  • Completed university degree in relevant subject in molecular biology, biochemistry, biological engineering, biophysics, bioinformatics, computational and systems biology
  • excellent knowledge of English
  • the general willingness for a longer-term research stay at Duke University (USA)
